7-DAY ONLINE WORKSHOP

Cryo-Electron Microscopy (Cryo-EM) Single Particle Analysis (SPA)

By Biosyntiya Solutions in collaboration with BioNEST-BHU and Practi Cloud

8June - 15 June 2026 | Virtual

About the Workshop

Cryo-Electron Microscopy (Cryo-EM) has emerged as one of the most powerful and transformative techniques in modern structural biology. Unlike traditional methods such as X-ray crystallography, Cryo-EM enables the determination of biomolecular structures without the need for crystallization, allowing researchers to study proteins and complexes in their near-native state. Its ability to resolve structures at near-atomic resolution has significantly advanced our understanding of protein folding, molecular interactions, and biological mechanisms — a contribution so profound that the 2017 Nobel Prize in Chemistry was awarded for its development.

With the rapid advancement of Cryo-EM technologies and its expanding role in both academia and industry, there is a critical need to train the next generation of researchers in this specialized field. To address this, Biosyntiya Solutions, in collaboration with BioNEST – Banaras Hindu University (InnoResTech Foundation, BHU) and Practicloud, is organizing an intensive 7-Day Online Workshop on Cryo-EM Single Particle Analysis (SPA), designed to provide participants with comprehensive theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical insights into advanced structural biology techniques.

This workshop is conducted by a distinguished scientific team from premier global institutions including the University of Connecticut Health (USA), the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (India), Emory University (USA), Johns Hopkins University (USA), the Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad (India), the University of Virginia (USA), and the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), India ensuring world-class learning and international exposure.

Participants will gain hands-on understanding of Cryo-EM workflows, exposure to global research practices, skill development for academia and industry, and direct networking with international experts.
